Congrats To The Graduates!
This is an exciting time of year for many – high school graduation. A teenager transitions to a young adult marking the end of one era and the beginning of another.
Festive ceremonies are followed by parties and plans for the fall. The future seems bright for many and there’s usually a mix of emotions. Some will leave home for the first time to attend college.
In some cases, they will attend college in a place where the weather is dramatically different from what they’re accustomed.
If you know a graduate, give them and their family the gift of peace of mind. Click here to order WeatherCall – a great graduation gift. Our instant, specific warning service can monitor a college student’s dorm and call the student, Mom and Dad when bad storms threaten.
Why is that important? Well, let’s just say that some college students can get pretty distracted and may not be as “tuned in” as they should be. Especially when it comes to weather threats.
They may ignore our urgent WeatherCall, but, remember – we also call Mom and Dad. They, in turn, can call their child and to check in on them and ensure they’re taking safety action.
A parent of a student who went through the terrible tornadoes of 2011 at the University of Alabama was thankful they had this service. They were able to keep in contact with their child. Others, sadly, were not so fortunate.
For all those in the Class of 2017, we at WeatherCall, wish success and, of course, safety!
