WeatherCall @Home 2016 Improvements

WeatherCall @Home: The Nation’s Best just got BETTER!

Deltona Tornado Warning“A picture is worth a thousand words”. Now any WeatherCall @Home registered phones that are SMS-text enabled cell phones can ADD an optional text message in addition to the phone call, containing a web link to SHOW you where the warning was issued.  Below that map is the entire text of the National Weather Service (NWS) issued warning responsible for launching the phone call and sending the text message.

Important Reminders:

  • Companion text message warnings DO count towards your cell phone’s text message usage plans
  • Remember that ANY type of telephone can receive a WeatherCall.  Adding SMS text messages is strictly optional to enhance the quality of the warning information received.

By listening to the phone message, looking at the map, and reading the exact warning text puts all the information at your fingertips that you need to make a decision to ACT.

This addition is yet another reason WeatherCall is the nation’s premiere 24/7/365 notification service for receiving official NWS issued tornado, severe thunderstorm and flash flood warnings.  More changes are coming.  2016 will be an exciting year for WeatherCall subscribers!

Click here, login, AND ADD SMS-Text MESSAGES to your existing WeatherCall @Home account!
