INTEGRATION DETAILS

To connect WeatherCall Enterprise to your fire control system, you will need to purchase and install a relay switch.

Additionally, your facility and fire control system needs to satisfy the following conditions:

  • A public IP address.
  • A firewall capable of setting up port forwarding rules.
  • A wired ethernet connection located near the fire control pane so that a relay device can be located near the Fire Panel and attached to the LAN.
  • Company security procedures and policies which allow this connection.
  • A port on the Fire Control Panel that will accept a signal from a relay switch closure.
  • A programmable Fire Control Panel which can process the relay signal and activate the desired warning devices such as signage, audible messages or strobe lights.

Pricing Information

The annual cost is based on the types of warnings which activate the panel and if "all-clear" signals are desired.

AVAILABLE WARNING TYPES:

  • Tornado Warning – tornado either detected by National Weather Service radar or confirmed.
  • Severe Thunderstorm Warning – winds over 58 mph winds and/or quarter-size or larger hail.
  • Flash Flood Warning – life-threatening flooding is imminent or occurring.
  • Lightning – detected lightning within 6 miles.

ANNUAL COSTS PER RELAY PER LOCATION*

  • $600 for the first type of weather warning
  • $300 for the second type of weather warning or “all clear”
  • $150 for each additional kind of weather warning or “all clear”

Sample configuration:

Tornado and lightning detection and lightning “all clear”…... $1050.00

*Annual cost does NOT include the relay switch, purchased separately, ranging from $190-$250.
