President/Meteorologist

Valerie has a BS degree in geosciences and secondary education from SUNY Buffalo. She is an active member of the American Meteorological Society and National Weather Associations and is frequently invited to participate in panels at national meetings. 

Before co-founding WeatherCall, Valerie worked for WSI Corporation working with emergency management and public safety agencies. She also managed a program for Baron Services facilitating partnerships to fund the placement of radar systems. After, she worked for WeatherData providing weather risk-management programs. 

Since starting WeatherCall Services, LLC., the solutions available have developed for many industries and new products for more communication options.

Chief Technology Officer

Mike Fannin is the man behind the code and reason WeatherCall’s infrastructure and communication systems work with efficiency. His ability to write code and manage our complex series of systems is what makes WeatherCall’s success second to none. 

Mike has over 30 years of experience in the computer industry, including voice/fax processing and computer telephony integration. Prior to co-founding WeatherCall, he served as a vice president of @Link Networks and Director of GenuTec Business Solutions, Inc. Mike co-founded two voice processing companies and directed the development of the world’s first voicemail system. He holds the world’s first patent on voicemail.

Senior Vice President of Weather Risk Management

Before WeatherCall, Brad Huffines was Chief Meteorologist at WAAY-TV in Huntsville, staying on-air for 18 straight hours as 40+ tornadoes moved through Northern Alabama on April 27, 2011. He also worked in South Carolina, Georgia, Texas, and Oklahoma along with the CNN weather team. Brad previously served as Director of Meteorology for a company, managing and launching a Netherlands weather and traffic network.

Brad is an instructor for FEMA and is considered a subject matter expert on meteorology and emergency notification. Brad holds a degree in meteorology from the University of Oklahoma and currently lives in North Carolina.

Vice President of Business Development

Beau’s weather career began when he was a teenager in southern Illinois, forecasting for local radio station WMOK and serving as a weather intern at WPSD in Paducah, Kentucky. Outside of WeatherCall, he is the Chief Meteorologist for "Weather Talk LLC" and "My Local News First". He has worked with the American Red Cross and forecasts for local emergency management agencies in western Kentucky and southern Illinois. He has a B.S. and Broadcast Meteorology Degree from Mississippi State University.

He is an active member of the National Weather Association, passionate about mentoring, and is the President of the Shadow Angel Foundation, an organization that helps with disaster recovery efforts, supporting local charities, and sponsoring NOAA Weather Radio giveaways.

The United States Air Force has a yearly award named after Beau’s family.  The Dodson Award is given to distinguished meteorologists in the armed forces.

Senior Meteorologist

Gene’s weather career began by writing computer programs in support of NASA’s Space Shuttle Program. He then fulfilled a life-long goal of becoming a broadcast meteorologist, with an award-winning career spanning over 25 years. During his time on television, he saw first-hand, how WeatherCall saves lives.

Gene joined WeatherCall as a National Notification Consultant in 2015. In this role, Gene develops sales and marketing content and strategies for WeatherCall and HazardCall. He has made numerous presentations at tradeshows and business association gatherings highlighting the distinct difference WeatherCall’s site-specific safety planning tools deliver.

Megan McClellan joined WeatherCall in May 2021 after working in television in Denison, Texas and Tulsa, Oklahoma. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Meteorology and minors in Mathematics and General Business. Megan is active with the American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association.

Megan is our Director of Digital Marketing. She believes everyone should have access to weather information and know what to do when bad weather arrives. Megan is also passionate about STEM and Women In STEM.

Dawn joined the WeatherCall team in 2010 while raising her 3 kids. 

She loves being able to help people.  She says, “Contributing to the safety of our clients, makes my job very rewarding.”

When not at work, she spends most of her time serving the community by helping to run a food bank through her church as well as youth group leader at church. She also loves camping and enjoying the outdoors

Regional Notification Consultant 

John has a passion for weather along with being a husband and father of 3 boys in Southwest Missouri. He believes in getting the proper information to the general public quickly and hassle-free so they can make the decisions to preserve life and protect property.

When he isn't on his computer studying radar information or making sales calls, he enjoys fishing, Irish motorcycle road racing, and spending quality time with his family and friends. He joined the WeatherCall family in 2013 and since then has helped develop some of our social media platforms and loves testing the WeatherCall products.
