Turn Your Fire Control Panel Into a Weather Alert System!

WeatherCall Enterprise can integrate with your existing fire control panel to help alert staff and guests when dangerous weather threatens your exact location — not just your county.

Turn Your Fire Control Panel Into a Weather Alert System!

When severe weather threatens your location, every second matters. WeatherCall Enterprise monitors your exact GPS location for official National Weather Service warnings and nearby lightning, then sends a signal that can activate connected alerting tools through your fire control panel.

Use your existing infrastructure to help staff, guests, students, residents, or employees know when it is time to take action.

See HOW It Works

WeatherCall Enterprise monitors weather threats at your exact location. When a qualifying alert is issued, such as a tornado warning, severe thunderstorm warning, or lightning within range, WeatherCall can trigger a relay connected to your fire control panel.

That relay can be configured to activate tools such as:

  • Flashing lights
  • Audio alerts
  • Digital signage
  • Pre-recorded messages
  • Other connected notification systems

When the threat has passed, WeatherCall can also send an all-clear notification.

Eliminate Confusion!

Let's face it - every time there is a weather threat, confusion abounds.

Why? Because legacy systems aren't precise, and people immediately look for confirmation or remain in a state of denial.

Weather Call Enterprise, integrated with your existing fire control panel, eliminates that confusion.

We monitor official National Weather Service tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings and detect lightning within 6 miles of your exact GPS location.

When we send a signal to your fire control system, and lights flash, alarms sound or recording play, your staff KNOWS it is time to take action - no more confusion!

This lets you:

· Eliminate lost productivity from shutdowns caused by legacy, unreliable and non-site-specific methods (weather radio, free phone app, etc.)

· Gain control of critical safety decisions during emergency conditions, eliminating confusion.

· Receive emergency notifications in environments with poor cell phone reception.

· Define up to 5 contacts that can receive a phone call, text, or email upon activation and cancellation of weather alerts.

· Leverage the “Best in Class” weather monitoring and notification by an NWS Trusted Core Partner

INTEGRATION DETAILS

To connect WeatherCall Enterprise to your fire control system, you will need to purchase and install a relay switch.

Additionally, your facility and fire control system needs to satisfy the following conditions:

  • A public IP address.
  • A firewall capable of setting up port forwarding rules.
  • A wired ethernet connection located near the fire control pane so that a relay device can be located near the Fire Panel and attached to the LAN.
  • Company security procedures and policies which allow this connection.
  • A port on the Fire Control Panel that will accept a signal from a relay switch closure.
  • A programmable Fire Control Panel which can process the relay signal and activate the desired warning devices such as signage, audible messages or strobe lights.
