The sirens are powered in two different ways:

Sirens auto-activate when the siren location is in a tornado polygon.
There is no human interaction needed for this siren to activate.
The activation comes from WeatherCall Services, LLC. keeping an eye on the location and the warnings issued by the
Naitonal Weather Service.

Worried about the siren not activating or knowing when it does activate?
The siren is programmed to notify a cell phone when the siren is activated and if the siren fails to activate.
